This is for the developers of Display Fusion and the users. A Multi-Monitor Taskbar feature is needed.
On the second monitor Taskbar there is no way to make it autohide that I can find.
Since I always use the taskbar I think it would be useful for many users to have a way to hide the second monitor taskbar.

John,
I don't think you have explorer the application too well. This has been a feature since it was first included.
Right-Click a DF taskbar > Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Auto-Hide.

Hi Pgomersol,

Thanks for the advice. A problem still exists though! I have version 4.2 and when I do what you say only "enable/disable taskbars" appears. I get no auto-hide.

What do I do?????

@Pete: Thanks for posting that solution!

@John: Please note, since the taskbar options are per-taskbar, you need to right-click the taskbar itself, not the DisplayFusion tray icon :)

Thanks!

From what I understand you said, the function for the second taskbar to be hidden is selected on the taskbar, not in Display Fusion. In other words it's not a part of Display Fusion. My primary monitor works fine the taskbar hides. But the secondary monitor taskbar will not hide when "properties", "taskbar", "autohide the taskbar" is checked.

If it's a windows7 problem why would one monitor hide the taskbar and the other monitor not work?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. To change the setting for the DisplayFusion taskbar (the one on the second monitor) you need to right-click that one, not the one on the primary monitor.
  • Right-click the taskbar on the second monitor (the one you want to enable auto-hide on)
  • Navigate to Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Auto-Hide > Enabled

Could you please make the Auto Hide Taskbar setting a Pin in the popup and in Taskbar Settings? It doesn't make sense under Multi Monitor.

I shouldn't have to search help to find it : - )

Love everything else !

Thanks for the feedback Paul! All of the settings under the Multi-Monitor Taskbar are per-taskbar settings, which is why they're grouped together. However, we are planning on revamping the way those per-taskbar settings are accessed and displayed in order to help make them more discoverable :)

Thanks!
