It was all working fine until a few days ago. Now whenever I have a Chrome window open on both my primary and secondary monitor, the secondary taskbar shows the window on the secondary monitor, but the primary taskbar shows all windows. This doesn't happen for any other app as far as I can tell.

Hello,

What taskbar mode do you have set in your Display Fusion taskbar settings? Also, what version of chrome are you running?

Thanks!

Chrome version: Version 86.0.4240.111

Sorry, didn't even notice there are replies. I just wanted to say that the problem disappeared after I switched from the trial to the Steam version of DisplayFusion

I'm on the steam version and I also have flickering taskbars too. I've had quite the headache trying to figure both of these things that popped up recently

Hello,

We're still trying to reproduce the chrome issue on our end.

For the flickering taskbar issue, can you try updating to our latest beta and see if that helps? Here's the link: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Thanks!

I am also having the same issue with the taskbar not show relevant windows, but only with browsers. I am also using Taskbar mode: All taskbars show relevant windows. I tried updating to the new beta version but am still having this issue. It happens with chrome and microsoft edge, so I assume it's all web browsers, but as far as I can tell, for me specially at least, it is ONLY browsers.

I have already updated to a beta version and that didn't make a difference. I noticed that it seems to also show certain Windows, windows on the main Taskbar like for Chrome.

Hello,

@tehnew, could you send me a backup of your settings? You can grab them in the options tab of Display Fusion, with the "export settings" button.

Thanks!

Hello,

Could you send me over a screenshot of your taskbars? Nothing has to be open on them, just the default taskbar is fine.

Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for sending me that over. Is it possible for you to send a video of the taskbar flickering as well?

Thanks!

Actually, after updating to Beta 5, and various windows and graphics driver updates the flickering has stopped. Chrome and other a few other windows displaying on the main taskbar is still an issue.

Hello,

Glad to hear that's fixed up! Could you send me over a video of the chrome taskbar issue as well? Also, can you try unpinning chrome from your taskbars, and see if the issue persists?

Thanks!

Unfortunately the flickering has come back, see the video in the quoted reply, but here is a video of the chrome windows. As you can see it's unpinned from the other two taskbars and it still shows up on the main bar.

Hello,

We've noted down the flickering taskbar issue. If we have any further information on it, we'll be sure to let you know.

For the chrome issue, can you try updating to Beta 6 on our website and see if the issue persists?

Thanks!

Unfortunately Beta 6 doesn't fix the chrome issue for me.

Hey as of last night i have been having the same Chrome problem and it seams to be caused by the fact that i had to add an compatibility to force chrome to be seen as fall screen so that the task bar on my second monitor would not show over videos played though chrome (youtube, twich, etc)

Ah, interesting.

@Tehnew, could you try disabling that from your compatibility settings and see if that fixes it?

Thanks!
