Hi all,
Apologies if this has already been covered, I’ve done a fair bit of searching and found several threads on taskbar behaviour but nothing quite matching my scenario.
I’m running an ultrawide monitor split into three regions using DisplayFusion, with multi-monitor taskbars enabled. The centre taskbar is my primary (Start menu, system tray, etc.) and the left/right taskbars are used mainly for pinned shortcuts via DisplayFusion.
The issue occurs when exiting a fullscreen application (in this case a game that does not support borderless windowed mode). Upon exit the taskbar briefly reverts to a single full-width Windows taskbar, then DisplayFusion restores the three split taskbars after a short delay. Also when the taskbar temporarily reverts to full width the pinned DisplayFusion taskbar shortcuts still appear in their left/right positions.
Is there any way to prevent the taskbar from reverting to a single full-width bar on exiting fullscreen or keep the split taskbar layout persistent?
Thanks
