When the wallpaper changes due to its interval (31 mins in my case) my system gets frozen for like 4-5 seconds, even the Windows cursor. Then I see the wallpaper changing and I recover control of the cursor again.

The weird thing is that when I manually force a wallpaper change this does NOT occur at all, the system doesn't froze. There isn't even a minor hitch in the cursor.

Could you send me a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal"
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks for sending that over. How are you triggering the wallpaper change when it doesn't stutter?

Okay interesting, I was able to reproduce something similar here so I've added it to our list to look into.

thanks!

Also, this doesn't work. Even when disabled it keeps doing the transitions anyway.

No ETA at the moment.

I tested the transitions here and that setting seemed to work fine, can you send me a video of the issue?

It seems it needed a restart for it to work. But the several seconds stall each time the wallpaper is changed keeps happening.
