Hello,

just bought Displayfusion on steam and loving it, however I have a n00b question about snapping.

My setup: DF v7.3.2, triple monitor using AMD Eyefinity. Monitor split works a treat (even obliging my bezel compensation), win10.

However I can't get the snapping function to behave the way I want. What I'm looking for is a way to maximize a window within its monitor, and not across all three.

I've tried various combinations of Aero disabling/enabling and parameters in the "Window Snapping" tab of DF options, but all I ever consistently get when trying to maximize a window is a window that spans across all three monitors, whatever the application.

Is this by design, or have I missed something ?

thanks

What you're looking for is the Spits and Padding button on the DisplayFusion Monitor Config window. In there, select 3x1 from the Presets button, then click OK, and OK again. That should split the Eyefinity display into three virtual monitors :)

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your answer !!

However the display split is already in place, handling perfectly the bezel compensation. But still maximizing windows spans across all three monitors.

Ok, in the Monitor Configuration window, is the "Window Management" checkbox enabled?

It wasn't, and that was it !! I guess I was confused by snapping as opposed to windows management.

All good now.

Many thanks and congrats on the fast, efficient support. My license was money well spent :)
