Just updated to the 18305 build and DisplayFusion is wonky. Appears to restart every time I click on a Windows Start button that is not on the main display.

Can you see the DisplayFusion.exe process restarting in Windows Task Manager? (e.g. does it get a new PID?)

DisplayFusion is not restarting. It is actually explorer that is restarting.

Oh wow! Could you attach a debug log?

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the crash and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Thanks! I can see in the log where it crashed, but there doesn't seem to be anything obvious that made it happen. When I use the Start button in the latest Windows 10 Insider Build it works fine for me :(

Does it make any difference if you press the Windows key with the mouse on that monitor instead of clicking the button?

It does not appear to happen when using the Windows key. It also appears to have changed its MO. When I posted, explorer always crashed when I clicked the Start button. Now it it intermittent. I will do some more testing to see if I can find a pattern.
