Building up a new workstation, primarily will be used for web development, Photoshop, Word/Excel/Outlook and a text editor or two.

Goal is to run three monitors, at 1920x1080 resolution. Suspect that DVI will be the most economical way to go for that.

What are recommended video cards to run? Suspect that a pair of cards would be used, each with 2gig onboard. I was not going to enable SLI/CrossFire, just running three separate desktops with DisplayFusion.

Will run under Windows 8.1 64bit. Trying to be cost conscious here too, so any recommendations?

Thanks.

I've got a GeForce 650Ti here, that has two DVI outputs, and one HDMI output. If need be, you can use an HDMI to DVI cable so that all three monitors can be connected via their DVI inputs, but it also works fine just connecting the two DVI and one HDMI normally. You can also use DVI to HDMI cables if you want to have all three connected via their HDMI inputs as well :)
