Visual Studio 2017/2019 does not move to the next screen. I have tried moving to next screen by icon in the title bar and keyboard shortcut. Other applications do move with the same shortcuts.
I have tried this on two different monitor profiles. One is dual monitor and second is the ultrawide monitor with screen splitting. This does not work on either of those. Please help !

We've just tested here with 2017 and 2019 and both seem to work for us. Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Does Visual Studio run elevated on your machine? It looks like DisplayFusion is running as a normal user, so if Visual Studio is elevated, then DisplayFusion won't be able to manage it.

As a test, try exiting DisplayFusion and launching it as administrator, then see if it can move the Visual Studio window.

Yes, that is correct. We have Cyberark EPM launching Visual Studion in Administrator mode.

Ok, that would be it then. The only option would be to also run DisplayFusion elevated.

Please let us know if you have any further questions at all.

Thanks!
