I'm not exactly sure when this change occurred but it seems that the wallpaper function for Vlad.studio in DF no longer pulls multi-monitor images. It had previously worked though!
Is there something I'm missing?

Looks like it's broken, most likely something changed with the Vladstudio API. We'll check it out and see what we can do.

Thanks!

Vlad has fixed this issue up on his end, so it should be working again. No DisplayFusion update needed :)

Thanks!

Thanks for the update but it seems as though it's still not working for me.
It still shows like: https://i.imgur.com/vUlWm4s.png (no matter how many times I refresh/update it)
I've logged out of Vlad.studio and logged back in as well to no avail.
Currently, I'm running DF10.0 (Beta 4).

Oh strange! When I tested it, it wasn't downloading images at all. We'll check this out as well.

We can't seem to reproduce that issue here. Could you attach a copy of your DisplayFusion troubleshooting info?

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

Thanks! I think I see the issue here but need to check in with our developers on it. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks! I was able to reproduce this issue here and we'll hopefully have it fixed up for the next beta. In the meantime, if you use the "Centre" size mode for the wallpaper, that should fix it for Vladstudio images that support 3840x1080.

Thanks Keith!
Just to clarify though:
1. It doesn't appear that I'm getting any images that are 3840x1080 in size at all (or even in that aspect ratio, 32:9) from Vladstudio currently; all images received from Vladstudio are only 16:9.
2. Because of 1, choosing "Centre" sizing just crops the top and bottom of any image pulled from Vladstudio and fills to width across both displays.
I hope the fix works out! Thanks again~

Are you logged in with a Vladstudio account in the settings?

If you go to
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\DisplayFusion\Web Images
and view the properties of the downloaded Vladstudio image, what does it say for the dimensions?

Now that I know where the downloads go, the files being pulled from Vlad.studio are 3840x2160 (16:9). That would partially explain the issue I'm experiencing.

Yeah, definitely! If you find that image on his site, does it actually have a 3840x1080 size available? It could be that the closest size available for that image was 3840x2160.

Yes, it does exist. As do all the other wallpapers I've checked.
For example: https://vlad.studio/ajax-download-wallpaper-start/?filename=qr_wisdom_1&size=3840x1080 | https://vlad.studio/wallpaper/qr_wisdom_1 - matches the one in a previous post.

Ok, strange! I'll have to re-test again to see if I can reproduce the issue. I'll keep you posted on what I find out.

I ran a setup with your monitor configuration all day yesterday and the images downloaded were always 3840x1080, so I'm a bit stumped here! Could you send me a full debug log, as well as a settings backup?

Debug log:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

And for the settings backup:

  • Open the Settings window
  • On the Options tab, click "Export Settings"

Thanks!

Ok, update for you! Vlad has fixed this issue from his end and I can confirm it's fixed when I test it here as well. Please let us know if you still run into any trouble.

Thanks!
