Hi, DF community,

In Windows 10 I have a two monitor setup. Graphics card is Radeon Pro WX 4100. Monitor 1 is Dell U4919DW, DISPLAYPORT (5120x1440), and monitor 2 is LG TV, DISPLAYPORT to HDMI (70UW340C-UF - but I'm not worried about this one). I'm running VMware Workstation Pro 15.1, and the reason I'm trying DisplayFusion is to make it so I can fullscreen the VM, but only on half the 32:9 monitor. I run DF, configure it to split the big monitor in two, and it works when I fullscreen other apps, but VMware fullscreens across the full 32:9. Any thoughts about what I'm doing wrong here, or does this just not work with VMware?

Thank you,
Curt

Thanks for checking out DisplayFusion! Unfortunately that kind of setup won't work. DisplayFusion can't constrain native full screen windows to splits :(

Sorry!

This request has been raised before -- see https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/force-full-screen-to-only-virtual-monitor/?ID=73137995-8af7-4c1f-8f9f-5920f78e6ec8#5. Other tools can do it -- you may want to check out VDM as noted in the other thread.
