Suddenly, out of the blue, it looks like this:

If i set it to transparent all icons disappear till i hover and then the black comes back with the icons...

Nothing changed on my system. I uninstalled/reinstalled, tried older versions, but it always comes back up wierd. Any idea's i could look at/try?

Did you enable Transparency in WindowBlinds by any chance? We had another customer report that the DisplayFusion taskbar turns all black if the Transparency setting in WindowBlinds is enabled. We still need to look into it but we'll hopefully be able to fix it up :)

Thanks!

yep indeed. But it was always on transparent. And beta 8 worked fine just until suddenly. And now 3.4 also is black ????? I uninstalled with deleting all settings, reinstalled 3.4 ...... and a n ice black bar. No system changes, but some windows updates. So uninstalled the updates with no result. Very strange. How do i clean out any trace of DP from the registry?

All of the DisplayFusion settings are stored in HKCU\Software\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion, so you can just exit DisplayFusion and delete that key. Alternatively, when uninstalling DisplayFusion, it prompts to do a complete uninstall, which removes all registry keys and AppData.

Pity. If there would be some lost key it would be so easy :(

Can't begin to figure out what causes DP to regress a blackbar in a stable release that never ever had it. That means it must be my system. Which sucks. I'll never find that. Could be anything.

Computers can be frustrating some days :)

However, I have been able to reproduce that bug here when the WindowBlinds transparency is enabled, so hopefully we'll be able to just fix it up :)

Just want to check, are you still having this issue with DisplayFusion 4.0.0 Beta 11?

Thanks!
