Like many I have been working from home since COVID hit. This means I've adapted my home setup to doing 8 hours for my employer.

I have three screens.

24" - 30" - 24"

In "Home" configuration, my chat windows are on the left 24" including the buddy list (Trillian). My music player, web browser, and Outlook are on the right 24".

In "Work" configuration, I move all of what I just mentioned onto the center 30" as the wing 24" screens get taken over by my work laptop.

I've had a hotkey-aware profile for each setup. In DisplayFusion 9.7.1 (this has been going on for ~2 months now at least) I often have to press the hotkeys (ALT-SHFT-W/H) multiple times before all windows are moved to where that profile says they should be.

    - Sometimes, the windows don't move at all.
    - Sometimes, only some of them move.
    - It's a crap-shoot as to which ones as well so I can't say "Trillian consistently misbehaves" for example.
    - While the move is executing (whether it works or not) my computer becomes unresponsive. This lasts for 10-20 seconds.

What debugging should I enable to generate useful logs when I press these keys?

Hi Nathan,

Can you try updating to our latest beta and see if the issue persists? Here's the link: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Let me know how that works!

This beta version (9.7.2) seems to restore the old functionality.

    - Windows move as expected.
    - The behavior is consistent.
    - The computer is no longer placed in an unresponsive state for 10+ seconds while a lot of nothing happens.
