When a window moves from a big monitor to a smaller monitor, the window gets cut off. If you make the window fill the screen, it also gets cut off.

When display fusion is off, the window auto fits to the monitor no problem, but when we turn display fusion ON, the window resizes to the biggest monitor automatically.

Can we have the correct resizing applied to the smaller moniters added please?

DisplayFusion should definitely be making the window automatically fit the smaller monitor, so it sounds like there could be a bug there somewhere. Would you be able to send over a debug log? Here are the steps:
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "Logging: Important Only"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Reproduce the issue, note the time (and the app name) so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Okay, I followed the steps. The time is at 2:55-2:57PM EST June 30, 2014

The program is Steam.

My brother is having the same problem.

screenshots:

This is when its on the bigger monitor: http://gyazo.com/2c85ea416f943d0f94dc8a066cfa855c

This is when it is on the smaller monitor: http://gyazo.com/7a389bcc85801df8e0c794b46555444f

As you can see from the second screenshot, some of the screen has been cut off and it causes a line on the larger monitor where it believes the window should end.

Ah ok, that's actually a Steam bug, triggered by an AppBar type window, such as DisplayFusion's taskbar. There's a really long thread about it here, but I don't believe they've been able to fix it up yet: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta/discussions/0/864957912691535839/
