I just did a fresh install of Windows 10. I had Windows 7, upgraded to Windows 10 and then went back to Windows 7 and have fresh installed Windows 10.

Okay, if I haven't lost you yet, I'm having an issue with the fresh install of windows 10. It worked fine with 7 both times and my first time with 10, but now it's giving me fits.

They little icon that pops up in the upper right corner that allows you to click and instantly swap that window to the next monitor is only showing on some things not, not all things (it'll show on chrome, but not origin app) and when it does show (like on chrome) it is like hidden and I have to play the finding game to locate it. Once highlighted it will appear.

What settings do I need to get it to show on everything and show all the time?

Also, I do have a pro license, but I'm not using it with Windows 10. I shouldn't have to, as the first time I had Windows 10, I didn't use my license with it either. (I don't really see a sense in using my license with windows 10, cause all the features I like are with the free version, anyways).

Sorry for the long winded explanation. I hope someone can help. :)

The "Move to Next Monitor" button should indeed work fine in the free version :)

Could you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

Thanks, everything looks ok there! Would you be able to send a debug log? Here are the steps:
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L2: Log Detailed"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Open a Chrome window and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks! It seems like the buttons are being added, but maybe getting stuck behind the windows. Could you try updating to the latest 8.0 Beta (steps below) and see if that helps at all?
  • On the Settings > Options tab, enable the "Check for new beta versions" option, then click Apply
  • Click the "Check for Updates" button and follow the prompts to install the beta
  • Restart the computer

Thanks!
