Unfortunately this is a big feature that really requires its own app, so it's not something we'd be looking to add to DisplayFusion, sorry!

WindowBlinds by Stardock can do all sorts of neat themes, and I believe it can do transparency as well: http://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/
