Windows 10 Display Fusion no longer showing start menu on second monitor

So this has been happening for a while but I only just got about to documenting and posting.
Display fusion is no longer showing the start menu on the second monitor when I click the start menu there...
It either doesn't show the start menu at all, or it flashes and then shows the start menu on the first monitor.
It will also flash icons briefly when it tries to do this
I have recorded a video showing what I mean and uploaded to to youtube.

I only recorded the second screen to make sure the video was clearly visible and cut down on video file size.

Hi Richard,

Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Hi Richard,

Thanks for sending that over. It looks like you have "Application Hooks: Disable Hooking the Windows Taskbar" turned on in the DisplayFusion Advanced Settings. If you set that value back to it's default and restart DisplayFusion, does the issue persist?

That does resolve the immediate issue...

I remember changing that setting a VERY long time ago to resolve a different issue (which I can no longer remember).

But it never caused a problem until a few weeks ago, when this started....

I guess I will carry on with it back on and hope the original issue (which I can't remember) has been resolved.
