Hi team, I'm using DF on my ultrawide to split it into 3 monitors and it works pretty seamlessly. I have separate taskbars on each split to show the windows for that split on them.

Every few minutes, and seemingly at random the DF taskbars disappear and the windows 10 taskbar stretches full width. And then it goes back again.
It keeps happening over and over.

Nvidia driver updated last week, nothing else has changed on the pc.

Need a little help.

Hello,

If you head into the Windows taskbar settings, do you have "Show taskbar on all displays" enabled?

Thanks!

Apologies, I got no notification there was a reply.
Yep, it's all ticked.
There are 3 "displays" created on the Ultrawide.
It works perfectly to snap the windows.
There is a taskbar on each window. And every 30 to 120 seconds it reverts to only the windows taskbar.

When it reverts I have the start button on the left, right clock and dock all the way on the far right and all of the windows from "displays" 2 and 3 disappear.

Hello,

Interesting, if you open up task manager do you see any processes on the Details tab called "nvsmartmaxapp"?

Thanks!

So the problem went away, just... went away.
Restarted and it comes back. Then it goes away.
Bunch of drivers updated last week, it just keeps happening.

On a whim I had Discord closed and it seems to suddenly stop.
Looks like Discord is doing something, god knows what, and killing the Displayfusion task bars.

:(

Edit: Nope.
Discord remains closed and it started up again.
It's just endlessly flickering.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for sending that over. Could you also open up task manager, and check to see if any processes on the Details tab called "nvsmartmaxapp" are running?

Thanks!

Hey Owen:

Give me a couple of days. It is only occurring when I have multiple(2) screens running and I'm in a single screen configuration right now.

Owen:

Can't seem to replicate it now. I'll keep looking. It's possible it was tied into the missing system tray icons issue.

I'm having the same issue since Windows updated last night. Running the H121 update since last night. Latest DisplayFusion, latest Nvidia driver with yesterday's hotfix. My taskbar/system tray keeps disappearing and then coming back. After about an hour of troubleshooting, on a whim I disabled DF, rebooted, and things are back to normal, as far as the taskbar is concerned. Start DF back up, and the problem returns within minutes.

Hi Jay,

I have a feeling this is related to the missing system tray icons from this thread: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/missing-system-tray-icons/?ID=18d3bea7-8cea-4b5e-ae6f-1ed3b5cbf847

Could you send me over a video of the issue happening?

Thanks!
