I tried searching the forum to see if this was a duplicate and I didn't find anything....

I have Dual Monitors 1920x1080:
Left Monitor - Right Edge Snap does not resize any application window
Right Monitor - Left Edge Snap does not resize any application window

Using version 5 beta 11.
Enable Windows Edge of Monitor snapping - checked
Enable Windows Edge Snapping to other Application Windows - checked
Use sticky snap - checked

Snapping Mode - Always Snap.

Am I missing something or is this a known issue that the edge of a shared screen does not snap?

Appreciate any pointers on this :)

Thanks.

I think there's some confusion :)

Our Window Snapping feature "snaps" windows into alignment with other windows and monitor edges, but does not resize them. This is different than the Windows 7 "Aero Snap" feature that snaps and resizes the window to half the screen.

However, you can move and resize any window to the top, left, right, or bottom half of the screen using the following built-in Functions in DisplayFusion:
  • Ctrl + Win + Up Arrow Key
  • Ctrl + Win + Left Arrow Key
  • Ctrl + Win + Right Arrow Key
  • Ctrl + Win + Down Arrow Key
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the clarification - sorry I misunderstood the functionality.

No worries! Being able to have the "Aero Snap" functionality on the inside edges of the monitors is actually on our feature request list, so I'll add your vote to it as well :)

Thanks!

+1 for this feature! I came to the forum looking for just this, hoping you guys find a way to implement it sometime.

Great program, by the way! :-)
