I just wanted to let everyone know that the multi-monitor taskbar doesn't work in Windows 7, and won't be supported in DisplayFusion 2.3. After the release of 2.3 I will be starting work on full Windows 7 support. This will be a huge undertaking in itself, so I didn't want to delay the release of DisplayFusion 2.3 any further. I know many of you are running Windows 7 systems now (myself included) so support for Windows 7 is at the top of my list for DisplayFusion 2.4. All other functions in DisplayFusion 2.3 have been tested and are working in Windows 7 (hotkeys, wallpaper, Flickr, Vladstudio... etc).

I got ambitious tonight and re-implemented the experimental Windows 7 support from Beta 9 before I released Beta 14. It's not anywhere near perfect, but something is better than nothing. Just disable visual styles in the DisplayFusion Settings window on the Taskbar tab to make it look a little bit better.

It's passable in terms of readability, and the main thing is that the buttons *actually* work - I'll keep it just like it is.

I wonder if it would look less horrible with a different Windows 7 theme? The new theme browser is pretty snazzy. :)

What, the classic toolbar or the extended toolbar as it is now showing up with the Vista theme?

I tried changing things and it really didn't change much on the toolbar AFAICT....

Ok, I wasn't sure what would happen. I'm still using the default Windows 7 theme but I thought a new theme might change the look of the taskbar. I guess they have changed theming in Windows 7 quite a bit.

Yeah, very much so.

Users can now make their own themes and then save them as a themepack and share them with others.

That's cool - I didn't even know about the theme sharing. I just played around with the theme browser a little bit.
