I have my 4k display split into a bunch of parts. I've disabled the taskbar for all but the main one, which retains the "original" Windows one. But windows in the bottom splits to the sides don't take the entire space when maximized, it's like the taskbar is still extending through the screen's full width.

I can fix this is by setting the taskbar to auto hide, but I rather keep it visible. Is there something else I can do?`

I'm using DF 8.0b4 atm.

Did you disable the taskbar via the taskbar right-click menu? If so, could you try disabling the taskbars completely using the option on the Settings > Taskbar tab?

Yep, I had disabled every other split's taskbar through the right-click menu.

Disabling it through settings ("Enable Multi-Monitor Taskbars") makes the main taskbar go back to spanning through the screen instead of staying only within the main split. Windows still don't fully maximize.

Ok, could you attach a copy of your troubleshooting info (steps below), as well as a backup of your settings (Settings > Options > Export)?
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!
