Just as the anniversary update with Windows 10. There's a glitch where you can still access the taskbar, and it seems windows isn't completely lockdown.

Are you running the latest version of DisplayFusion, version 8.1.1?

Does this seem to happen after deactivating the screen saver? Or immediately after locking your workstation?

The issue is mostly (from what I've seen) occurring when you lock, or window locks your computer. I can't recall if it also occurs when the screensaver is deactivated. I would assume it could be something to do with "hide windows lock screen" since if I disable it; the issue is more noticeable. Perhaps when having the "hide windows lock screen" setting on; it fails to hide the lock screen from time to time. Causing the glitch where you can still access the taskbar from the lockscreen.

Ok, thanks! I haven't been able to reproduce this here, but I'll keep testing to see what I can find out :)

Sorry for the delayed follow-up. I haven't been able to reproduce this issue here. Could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)
  • Reply with the file attached

Unfortunately (although good news) I have upgraded to a newly built PC this past Christmas and haven't noticed this glitch occurring (atleast not yet).

Okay so it popped up again! (I wanna note that I didn't fall to a backup of my DisplayFusion from my previous PC; so I installed DP on my new PC from scratch) I noticed after doing these steps

1. I turned on my PC
2. Used Real VNC to connect to it so I could sign in
3. Then locked my account to the windows lock screen

I have attached the Troubleshoot info as previously requested.

Thanks! Are you able to reproduce it every time with those steps? I tested that here, but still couldn't make it occur :(

Now it's hit or miss; sometimes I don't even get the glitch to appear. It seems to happen when I lock the computer while signing in for the first time. It could be a glitch when locking the computer while DF is loading during first boot, or maybe when certain settings are toggled. If you like you can use my DF settings that I made a backup of. Maybe when using the exact settings as I you could get the same outcome.

Good news: I was able to reproduce this today :)
Bad news: I can't reproduce it using the same steps again :(

I'll keep plugging away at this. Once I'm able to reproduce it reliably, we should be able to get it fixed up.

Thanks!
