A few things I'd like to see before 3.1 goes final :-D
(apologies for not being able to find your milestone list...)
  • Clock on the end of the DF taskbar
  • In the settings window add a hot link to where DF keeps it's compiled wallpaper (I know there's a link in the trouble shooting text you can copy and paste, but a link would be much more user friendly
  • "Never Show Again"(!) for wallpapers. When using flickr images, the sight of a large fat person's face full screen on a 22" monitor can be.. well... disgusting.. :-P
  • Option on one window, to NOT rotate that image, but rotate the others (perhaps next to "Freeze Current Images": Freeze #1, #2, etc)
  • A live preview of the Titlebar buttons as you add them to the list :-D
In mho this would make an already fantastic program sweeter than sweet.

Let me answer your points:

1. There is no chance of a clock making it into version 3.1, it's too late to add something that big. But I have it planned for a future release.
2. I can't imagine why anyone would need to see the compiled wallpaper?
3. This is an interesting idea, I'll add it to the to-do list for the next version.
4. This might get confusing, how would you know which monitor's images you are freezing?
5.I am adding an "Apply" button to the Settings window for the next beta, so you can use that to see the changes without closing the Settings window - is that close enough? :)

Thanks!

1. :-(
2. Well, I know how to get there, so I suppose that's good enough. I often see a random image from flicker, I'd like to save, so I go there to get it...
3. :-D
4. Primary is #1, secondary is #2, so if you had "Freeze #1 Image" (see attachment) - I guess it could get complicated the more monitors you have.... :|
5. :-D

This information is in regards to an older beta version, so I'm locking/archiving this topic. If you experience this issue again with a newer version please re-post and we'll sort it out. Thanks! :)
