I am confused. I want the classic taskbar but cannot seem to get rid of the other bar that comes with Windows. Any ideas?

DisplayFusion should have prompted to disable the Windows taskbar, but you should be able to do it manually with the following steps:
  • Right-click the Windows taskbar, choose Properties
  • Disable the "Show taskbar on all displays" option
  • Click OK
Thanks!

Perhaps it is because I am still running a preview of Win8. I have multiple monitors and one monitor shows it correct but the other monitor still shows the dual even though it is turned off.

Any other ideas?

I plan on upgrading/clean install of Win8 within the week.

Strange! Disabling the option I mentioned in the previous post seems to remove the Windows 8 taskbar from all secondary monitors on my system, but I'm running the final version of Windows 8 RTM, so perhaps there's something weird in the Release Preview.

If you still run into issues after updating Windows 8, please let me know.

Thanks!
