Hi,

I've got a problem switching between two open Excel-Workbooks using the keyboard (ALT+TAB) if DisplayFusion is running.

Let's say I've 2 Excel-Workbooks opened (Workbook1.xls and Workbook2.xls) and Windows-Explorer is currently active.

If I want to switch to Excel using the keyboard, Alt+Tab only shows one of the two Excel-Tasks e.g. Workbook1.xls (I assume the last active one). So, I'm not able to switch to Workbook2.xls using the keyboard and I have to use the mouse instead.

Without DisplayFusion running Alt-Tab is always showing every Excel-Workbook.

Best regards,

Rainer

P.S.: I'm running Windows XP SP3, DisplayFusion 3.31 and if you need to know it Excel 2003 (XP?) SP3.

Seems to work ok for me. Could you try the latest DisplayFusion Beta?

You can download it here: http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Thanks!

did so and first I thought problem is gone but later I've noticed it's still there.
Actually I'm trying to figure out when it happens

Weird! So it's intermittent then?

When I test it with two workbooks open, what I see in the ALT+TAB box is 3 Excel icons:

- One that looks like the desktop icon which takes me to whatever workbook I had active last
- Two that look like the Excel file icons, one for Book1 and one for Book2

I would take a screenshot but the ALT+TAB window closes when I hit the Print Screen key :)

sorry for the delay.

yes, it is - sometimes Alt+Tab shows all, sometimes not.
But it's only related to Excel-Workbooks - I did never miss something else and never saw this before
installing DisplayFusion.
I've tried to find a way to consistently reproduce the problem, but wasn't successful.
I know it's almost impossible to fix something you can't reproduce, but maybe you can keep
it in mind.
I prefer to use the keyboard as much as possible and sometimes it's just annoying for me to take the mouse ;-)

jep - that's how it usually looks.

same as trying to make a screenshot from a Context-Menu ;-)
Sometimes you need a camera to make a screenshot :-)

Ok, thanks for the update! We'll definitely keep an eye out for it and if we can find a way to reproduce it then we'll do our best to get it fixed up. Please let me know if you come across any way of reproducing it.

Thanks!

I still haven't been able to reproduce this issue unfortunately, but if it's still occurring in the latest beta version of DisplayFusion, please let me know.

Thanks!
