I was using Beta 15 with out issue but today after installing v3.3.1 (Beta 16) Outlook 2007 went nuts flickering. Tivo Desktop which is off and has never done anything like it before, started crashing with a bunch of errors. I rebooted and Tivo Desktop seemed to be ok but the flickering Outlook did not stop until I closed DF.

If you start DisplayFusion back up, does Outlook start having issues again?

Yep. I guess it’s more like a pulse than a flicker. It’s every few seconds and it never did it before and it goes away when DF is disabled.

Ok, can you do the following?

  • Close Outlook
  • Open the DisplayFusion settings
  • Click the Troubleshooting tab
  • Check the “Enable debug logging” box and click OK
  • Open Outlook and let it flicker for 15-30 seconds.
  • Go back into the DisplayFusion Troubleshooting settings and click the “Open Log Location” button
  • Email the “DisplayFusion.log” text file to support@displayfusion.com

Thanks!

We think we've got the issue fixed up in 3.3.1 Beta 17 which we just released today. Could you update and let me know how it works out?

Thanks!

Still have the same issues after the update and reboot to Beta 17. Outlook 2007 is still flickering and I get the TiVo error.

The install kinda locked up so I'm going to try and uninstall and reinstall.
Still a no go. :(

So, I emailed Beta 14 to you, but you can ignore it. We've found the issue and it will be fixed in Beta 18 which should be released shortly. After it's released, please update and let me know how it goes.

Thanks!

Ok, Outlook looks good. The TiVo errors were more random but I’ll let you know if they come back.

Thanks.
