Just updated to CD X7, and it's managed to come up with a very annoying 'feature'. With Display Fusion set to have first and subsequent windows all on the same monitor, previous versions of CD (X5, X6) worked fine.

X7, bless its little cotton socks, has decided that isn't what it wants to do. If I select 'Print', the print dialog box pops over onto the other monitor. Annoying. What makes it worse is that if you then select 'Preferences' for the printer setup, the print driver box jumps back to your original monitor. It's like watching a tennis match ???

You're Canadian, Corel is Canadian, could you wander down the road and have a 'discussion' with them? 8)

I'll grab a trial of Corel Draw X7 and see if there's anything we can do from our end. If not, we'll shoot an email over to their support team to let them know of the issue :)

Thanks!

Something else I noticed with it - the Print dialog box doesn't have your icon on the taskbar to swap the screens. Dunno if that helps, Keith.

Actually, both are caused by the same issue :)

I've added this to our list, and we'll let you know when we're able to get it all fixed up.

Thanks!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

Yep, that got it - and added a couple of new distractions :)

1. Opening the program, the splash screen opens on the non-preferred monitor, while the information about version numbers etc is displayed on the preferred monitor.

2. During operations on big files, or any time-consuming operation, the main Corel window jumps around quite a bit, moving partly off the screen and back again, usually going off top left, without ever minimising. Just tried it with a big file (107MB) and it even does it when opening or saving the file. Once the task has finished, the window jumps back to the correct position and looks at you as if to say "Who, me? Nah..." :P

I was able to reproduce the first issue, but don't have any huge Corel Draw files to test the second issue with. Would you be able to share out a sample one via Dropbox or something like that?

Thanks! I think this might be due to the TitleBar Buttons being added to the window (we fixed that up when we fixed the Window Location thing too). Unfortunately there's not much we can do there, as it's just something that happens when the window is hung (like when you're opening/saving a huge file) :(

If you don't need the TitleBar Buttons on CorelDRAW, you can create a rule on the Settings > Compatibility tab to disable them for CorelDRAW :)

Thanks!
