With the 11 Beta of DF (11.0 Beta 2) on Windows 10 (21H2 Build 19044.3930) and using grouped taskbar icons, the DF Taskbar does not properly switch between multiple Windows for an application when clicked.

For example, if I have two Explorer Windows open to different folders, and I click the icon, it shows one of the Explorer Windows. If I click the icon again, it minimizes that Window. It never brings the second Window to the front.

This is different from the Windows taskbar and different from how I remember it working in DF 10?

Could you send me over a video of the issue?

Here you go - you can see I have multiple File Explorer windows but clicking the Taskbar button only brings the latest one to the foreground and then hides it again.

(Sorry for the poor video, I had to downsample to get the size small enough and may have overcorrected :) )

Thanks for sending that over. Any chance you're using something like 7 Taskbar Tweaker? A single click on grouped icons should just show the preview of the windows, unless you have another app installed to change that behavior?

I have no other tweak type programs installed. (I just re-wrote them as DF functions.)

A single click has never shown the (tiny) preview of windows that I am aware of, it has always been hover over the icon to see a preview, click a preview to switch to that window, click the icon to cycle through all the windows (which is also how the stock Windows taskbar works).

I did not realize it (it was setup a long time ago), but I apparently have the Last Active Click registry tweak setup:

https://superuser.com/a/685964/130497

This means when I click on an icon stack in the taskbar, it switches to the last open window for that application, and subsequent clicks brings older windows to the foreground.

I am positive this used to work on the DF Taskbar as well, but it stopped sometime recently. Can it be turned on again?

Ah interesting, I was able to reproduce that on my end, it does seem to work with v10. I'll add it to our list and we'll see if we can get it working again.
