when I try to take a tab out of edge to create a new window with this tab, sometimes only the background flickers and sometimes the tab will jump back into the original edge window. I attached a short video showing both situations. It is working fine if DF is not started.

Hey Charlie,

Is this happening with any other browsers?

Thanks!

Hey Owen,

I tried Opera and did not see any issue. That might be because the way the tab gets seperated is different.

Hey Charlie,

Could you send me over a backup of your settings? You can grab them in the options tab of Display Fusion Settings with the "Export Settings" Button.

Thanks!

Hey Charlie,

Yup, that's the right one! If you open up your Display Fusion Settings, and head to the compatibility tab, can you add edge and check off "Disable application Hooks", and see if the issue persists?

Thanks!

Hi Owen,

it did not help. But I found out that the detached tab will stay on the screen if I don't move my mouse after detaching. If I keep moving my mouse the tab will flip back. Please see the attached screenvideo.

Hey Charlie,

Just to confirm, if Display Fusion is closed down, the issue goes away, correct?

Thanks!

Hi Owen,

I just checked it again. Yes, closing down DF makes the issue disappear.

Hey Charlie,

Interesting, are you running a version of the windows 10 insider build?

Thanks!

Hey Charlie,

could you try and disable application hooks for all applications in the compatibility tab and see if that helps?

Thanks!

Hi,

it is a bit better (the tab stays outside) but the issue with the background flashing in the colour of "windows colour" still persists.

EDIT: I just switched on my third monitor and back is the issue. detached tab is flipping back inside with edge window.
