Unfortunately that's not really a feasible solution as monitors can often have identical names and even serial numbers oddly enough. They can also just show up as "Generic PnP monitor" or whatever.

We do have an open ticket for building a unique ID for each monitor based on a bunch of factors, but it's not currently planned. I've added your info to that ticket and we will definitely follow-up if we do implement that in the future.
