How do I lock my taskbar icons in position so they don't get shuffled around?

Good morning, it seems like my taskbar icons are moving around ocassionally, I haven't figured out a pattern yet, but I'm assuming there's some explanation? I didn't notice any settings in the Taskbar options that speak to locking down their positions or not.

I can only assume the logic might be that the most recently used ones move to the left but it doesn't seem to be all the time. Maybe I just need another coffee.

Thanks!

Strange, could you send me over a screenshot of the "Taskbar Shortcuts" window in DisplayFusion before and after they've been moved around?

Hi Owen, I will keep a closer eye on their behavior and take some screenshots if I notice it happening again. Wasn't sure if there was a setting or not that would "lock" their positions.

Thanks

There isn't a way to lock the position, but they shouldn't be moving either :D

Thanks Owen, I think I'm just not realizing that the order will likely change if I move an app from one monitor to another, and then back again later. Or if I accidently close an app completely and then have to re-launch it ;)
