Setup

I have a shared workstation with 3 monitors. a 19" monitor, and two Barco Medical grade monitors. The two Barco monitors are connected via a dual VGA card and the 19" monitor is connected to a second VGA card.

Scenario

We have Citrix based applications that my physicians want to access..They want to open the main imaging (Philips) (Note this is a Citrix published application) ICA file (shortcut on the desktop) on the 19" monitor but then want to drag the actual images to the Barco monitors.(For better resolution)

I downloaded the Pro version and tried to set up the above scenario however was not successful.

The 19" Monitor is setup as Monitor 3 and the two Barco as 1 and 2. I set Monitor 3 as the primary and extended the display\desktop on to the two barco monitors.

However when I run the Citrix published application it opens on the Barco (Monitor 1) and all subsequent windows within the application is open across all 3 monitors. (I believe this is because of the extended Display\desktop)

To summarize....

I want to set the 19" to be the primary monitor not have the desktop extended, but be able to drag the images to the Barco monitors when required. I believe by not extending the desktop \display I will be able to limit all applications to open within the 19" monitor (If there is a better way to do this I am open for suggestions)but this prevents me from being able to drag to images to the Barco monitors..(if the extended display option is not selected)

I also tried to setup as to where the application will open through the window location settings with no success.

Any help or directions appreciated.

Could you post a screenshot of your Window Location rule? Also, which version of Citrix XenApp are you running?

If you get a chance as well, please try the latest DisplayFusion 3.4.1 Beta (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/). We've made some behind the scenes changes to the Window Location feature that might make it work for the Citrix published apps.

Thanks!
