Hello! So randomly yesterday my lock screen stopped mirroring the desktop wallpaper even though i haven't made any changes to the settings. I have tried disabling and re-enabling the windows logon feature. I have tried deleting the image from my computer entirely, and the same jpg is still my logon wallpaper. It's like this image is a ghost on my computer now, saved in some godforsaken cache. I am using windows 7. any ideas how to get my logon window to match the desktop again?
Thank you!

Can you check the Windows Task Manager to see if "DisplayFusionService.exe" is running? If it's not, could you try the following?
  • Open a Run prompt, type in 'services.msc' and click OK
  • Double-click "DisplayFusionService"
  • Make sure it's set to "Automatic," and click the "Start" button to start the service
  • Try setting the Windows Logon Background again

Please let me know if you still run into any trouble at all.

Thanks!

That totally worked! To resolve the issue completely, I ended up opening up my start menu and i have to search for services and right click and run as administrator. I could quickly see that DisplayFusionServices was automatic, but the service was stopped. All I had to do was restart the service and then go into the logon menu and apply the changes. All fixed! Thank you for the assistance.
