With 4.1.0 Beta 14, if Outlook is in my secondary monitor, the right-click context menu moves to my primary monitor when I move my mouse over the menu.

Also, with Outlook (2010) Email sub-windows are always launched in the primary monitor (this isn't new with Beta 14) not in the monitor Outlook is in.

This doesn't happen to me when, for example, right-clicking on a message in my Inbox. Outlook 2010 w/ DF b14.

Huh. I don't see this either. The first time I open a message it is on my primary monitor, but once I move it to my secondary monitor the next message opens on the secondary monitor.

@Chad: We haven't been able to reproduce these issues here. Would you be able to copy the info from the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab and attach it here?

Thanks!

I upgraded to 4.1 and the problem re-occurred. How do I revert to an older version that works for me? The last version that worked was 4.1.0 Beta 13

You are correct, it only does it the first time. Once I move the message to the secondary monitor other email messages open on the secondary monitor.

Thanks for posting the Troubleshooting info Chad! It looks like you've got a Window Location rule to force all Outlook windows move to monitor 2, which according to the info, is your primary monitor on the left. Could you try deleting that rule, or change it to monitor 1, which would be the secondary monitor on the right?

Thanks!

That seems to have worked. Not sure how Monitor 2 became primary and Monitor 1 became secondary. Thanks for your help.

So the window location rule was affecting the context menu, too?

@deanis: It sure does, but it definitely shouldn't We've tested and confirmed it here, so we're going to fix that up as well.

Just a quick update, DisplayFusion 4.2 Beta 1 is now available at the link below, and this issue should be all fixed up.
