A recent AVG and Avast antivirus update is preventing DisplayFusion 9.9 from launching on some systems. If you're running into this issue, please update to the latest DisplayFusion 10.0 Beta.
It doesn't, but we do have an open feature request for it. We still need to look into it to make sure it wouldn't cause any issues when starting up.
In the meantime, you can have an icon profile load on startup by doing the following:
Open Windows Explorer ("My Computer") and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\DisplayFusion\
Right-click DisplayFusionCommand.exe (may just show as DisplayFusionCommand) and choose "Create Shortcut", when prompted to place it on the desktop, click Yes
Right-click the DisplayFusionCommand shortcut that was created on the desktop, and choose "Properties"
Add the following to the end of the target box: -desktopiconload "desktop icon profile name"
Click OK
Click Start > All Programs, right-click Startup and choose "Open" to open the Startup folder in Windows Explorer
Drag the DisplayFusionCommand shortcut from the desktop into the Startup folder
