Hi, I've recently switched to a dual monitor setup and been using your great program.

However there's one annoying issue. I have my monitors set to switch off after 15 minutes of inactivity and once I wake them up later all the windows get moved to my primary screen.

I am using Win 10 x64.

Thank you, unfortunately it can't be automated with monitor standby, but I also let DF lock the desktop so it works fine.

There's also similar issue with desktop icons actually - they all get moved into my primary unless I untick "lock to grid" setting in desktop context menu. Can something be done with DF so I can switch my icons back to grid snapping?

update: found a major issue - with a trigger "system idle 600 seconds > lock desktop" it locks the PC even if a fullscreen application is running such as video player (was watching a movie and it locked). Usually these programs are ignored by monitor standby. What would you suggest doing to have the ability to watch movies still?

For the desktop icons, the best thing to do would be to save the layout as a Desktop Icon Profile, then assign that Desktop Icon Profile to your Monitor Profile.

Regarding the System Idle trigger, I thought that Windows was supposed to handle not allowing idle while videos are playing (we're using the Windows API for getting the System Idle time). If you exit DisplayFusion, enable the Windows Screen Saver, and watch a video, does the Screen Saver come on after the timeout?

Windows indeed doesn't allow idling when some programs are running (screen saver doesn' start). But this trigger http://i.imgur.com/hQBeTEf.png?1 locks the PC when movies are playing.

Yep, that seems to be the case in testing here as well. I've added this to our list to fix up, thanks!

Thank you for addressing fullscreen programs in beta 11, really appreciate it! However when I unlock my PC now windows don't get restored to where they were and even pressing shortcut for "restore window positions" does nothing, meaning my trigger to save window positions doesn't work? It's the same as here https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/automatically-save-and-restore-window-positions-on-sleepresume/?ID=fa98975e-e4ed-45de-afe0-fafad56c7a83 and there are fresh comments on that article with a similar issue.

Sounds like they're not getting saved, yeah. Could you send a backup of your settings (Settings > Options > Export) to us? You can use this contact form: https://www.displayfusion.com/Support/#contact

Thanks!
