Hello, I quit DF a while ago and used to be something called " windows Location" it seems it developed to "Triggers" with rules and such. Can anyone help me make a rule to force a programs to open on a specific monitor? Thank you!

We have a how-to guide for the Triggers feature here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/working-with-triggers/?ID=43b31609-4ec6-4478-99f8-a1f11e9793f7

If you still run into any trouble, definitely let us know.

Thanks!

A question on this.. your solution works great.. except for apps that like to package themselves in version folders.
For example Discord. It's filepath changes every update, i.e.
"C:\Users\cars10\AppData\Local\Discord\app-1.0.9008\Discord.exe"

such that after each update the trigger no longer works.
If it could look for a specific executable name, this would be solved.
Is there any way to do that?

Thanks!

Not at the moment, but we do have this on our feature request list.

Thanks!

We've released a new beta that should auto update the pinned icon when the path changes. Please let me know if you run into any issues after updating, here's the link: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Thanks!
