Hi.
Does anyone know if there's a way to trigger a function when my monitor is turned on of off? I use nircmd to put my monitor into powersaving mode, and at the same time I would like to enable do not disturb. When I resume working, I'd like to turn do not disturb back off.

Anyone got any good ideas?

Hi Lars,

If the monitor is actually disconnecting from the system when it sleeps, you might be able to use the "Monitor Profile Changed" event with our triggers. We have a guide on creating triggers here: https://www.displayfusion.com/HelpGuide/Triggers/

Thanks!

Thanks. I tried, but it didn't seem to work. I put in a notification in there just to see if triggered, but it didn't.

The tool I'm using is nircmd and it seems it sends a command to the monitor and not windows. I'm not sure if it's possible to detect it turning back on. I also tried changing the monitor number, but didn't seem to work either.

Do you have any other suggestions? If not, I might have to put my system to sleep, but I'd rather not.

Ah okay, I don't think there's anything we can do there then unfortunately.
