A recent AVG and Avast antivirus update is preventing DisplayFusion 9.9 from launching on some systems.
If you're running into this issue, please update to the latest DisplayFusion 10.0 Beta.

System Tray icons on Multi-Monitor doesn't work on my other monitors. I right clicked the task bar on the secondary monitors by going to Multi-Monitor Taskbar -> System Tray Icons -> Right/Left/Automatic (all doesn't work). I re-installed version 9.9 and still doesn't work. Was there an update that removed Show/Hide??

The 3rd monitor does not show the system icons, the number 1 and 2 does.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for sending that over. If you move that taskbar to the bottom, do those icons come back?

Thanks!

No changes. Still no system icons. The only work around is dragging primary bar over to the third monitor. However, primary ends up with no system icons.

Could you send me over a backup of your settings? You can grab them in the DisplayFusion Settings > Options > Export Settings.

Thanks!

I'm having the same problem here with Windows 11 Insider builds after 25267. Don't know if it's related to that or not, but up until 25267 the systray icons showed up in the secondary display taskbar and now they don't.

Changing the position of the taskbar, autohide or the "System tray icons" setting to Left, Right or Automatic doesn't fix it.

Tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling DisplayFusion but still same problem.

I did a windows update today to build 22621.1344 and my system tray icons are missing on the displayfusion taskbars.
Microsoft must have changed something.
DF version is beta 19.

We are aware of this issue with the latest Windows 11 builds. We have it on our list to look into so we'll post here if we have any news going forward.

Thanks!

Thanks, same as others, this just occurred after the latest Win 11 update. Would reverting to latest stable build fix it in the interim?

Same issue here. After installing the Moment 2 update for Windows 11, my DF Multi-Monitor taskbars no longer show the up arrow to expand the tray icons. The only tray icons showing are network, volume and battery. No up arrow to see all the other tray icons.

Sorry this is a kind of a dealbreaker for me. I'm not planning to stop using this software obviously, but my 2nd screen system tray is useless now. I never knew how much I used it until it was rendered useless.

We're looking into finding a reliable work around, the changes made in that version of Windows have made this pretty difficult to fix unfortunately :(

Has this been fixed in the new Insider build 25314 or is it still happening?

I think he meant he reverted to a previous Windows build.
