windows task-bar doesn't do it, and i like symmetry, so any chance you could add an option to disable the hover over effect (that disables the transparency) in windows 8. Thanks
Also, make sure to set the Taskbar Opacity back to 100%. It will then be translucent to match the Windows taskbar, but won't fade in/out.
