I have four monitors but I don't use them all, all the time. It would be good to have a key combination to use which would simultaneously toggle display standby (the power-saving mode that monitors can enter when sent an appropriate signal) and restrict the mouse cursor to the remaining monitors. Is that possible at present with DisplayFusion?

It's not possible to sleep specific monitors, no. Windows will only allow all or none :(

Sorry!

Hi, Kieth. You can sleep individual monitors with this application: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/multi_monitor_tool.html using the command: Run MultiMonitorTool.exe /SwitchOffOn \\.\DISPLAY5

What about the mouse restriction?

Neat! I hadn't seen that tool before. It works ok for switching off most monitors, but for switching on, it only works with monitors that support DDC/CI, so that wouldn't be a reliable feature for us to include in DisplayFusion unfortunately.

Regarding the mouse, you can currently lock the mouse to a monitor using the "Lock/Unlock Mouse Cursor" Functions on the Settings > Functions tab. Will that work for you?

Hi Keith,

Does the current Lock/Unlock Mouse Cursor function of Display Fusion apply to only one display at a time or can you lock to two or three of four monitors?

Only one. We have an open feature request for the ability to lock the mouse out of specific monitors, so I will add your vote to that as well.

Is there any progress regarding the possibility to lock the mouse out of specific Screen? I would really appreciate such a feature

It's not something we have immediate plans to implement, but we will definitely let you know if/when we do.

Thanks!
