After upgrading to WIndows 11, open app icons show on more than 1 display, unlike the behavior under Windows 10 where it only showed on the display where it was actually open. I tried playing with the settings, but so far, no luck. While it is not a major problem, it is annoying, and it may well be that there is only a minor change in settings that is needed but I could not find any :)

Attaching screenshot of the "problem" along with a screenshot of the taskbar settings in DF

Any ideas? Might just be me not having searched enough to find the solution

It sounds like you're running into the 3rd issue on this post: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/windows-1011-known-issues/?ID=e71e1f5e-9e07-4f7d-b179-22253db2c30f

Do you have Adobe installed through the Windows Store?

I do have Adobe installed but not through the Windows Store and the issue is not with Adobe but with every app. Just used Adobe as an example.

"Can't Fix: Taskbar buttons for Universal apps remain on the Windows taskbar when the app is moved to another monitor."

This sounds much like it, though it only started with Windows 11 and was not an issue in Windows 10.
