I don't know how to describe it, but occasionally, Displayfusion will make the start menu and hidden taskbar icons window "float." I'm not entirely sure what causes this to happen. I think opening some programs in fullscreen/borderless window does it. I can revert it by either shutting down DP and opening it up again, or by using DxWnd to hide the taskbar, which forces a refresh. Anyone else experience a similar issue?

Sure thing. Here you go. I hope you can find something in there.

I actually just downgraded from the beta because I assumed it was an issue with it. Then I found out that it was also happening with the stable version.

Sure. Here it is.
It also occurred to me that maybe the issue may be coming up with DxWnd itself, so I'm going to try to run my computer without it and see if it still happens, just to be certain. Otherwise, if you can replicate it, then I know its a DF issue instead.

Actually, now that you've mentioned it, I've been noticing the issue on my primary monitor and not my secondary one...which pushes me to further believe that maybe DxWnd is the issue instead. I'm just not sure why disabling DisplayFusion would cause it reset its position.
I'm really sorry about this!

I recently changed Dxwnd to start with my computer and I can now confirm that for some reason, running both Dxwnd and DisplayFusion at the same time will cause the hidden taskbar item window (as well as some of the windows for things like volume control) float over the taskbar. Somehow, terminating DF and turning it back on temporarily solves the issue. I haven't found anything to trigger the floating window, other than just leaving both programs running at the same time. I know its an old topic, but at least now, I'm more certain about how the two programs behave together.

Nope. It just happens whether regardless. The other day, I was just looking at my desktop and didn't have any foreground programs opened when I saw the icons shift and I knew right away the taskbar began to float.
I'm not 100% sure, but I also am running Stardock's Fences program in the background. However, I've never had any issue between it and DP. Just DxWnd whenever its open. And again, if I shut down DF and open it up again, it resets everything back to normal.

Thank you very much for looking at it! I know its such a strange bug and I'm sorry for what feels like leading you around on a chase. If I figure out any other clues here, I'll let you know what I find!
I'm pretty sure that its DxWnd because it only seems to happen when I'm running that program, and killing DP resets it. It might be a long shot, but have there ever been any reported issues with Stardock's Groupy and DP before?
