Hello,

With windows 1903 Preview Release for some reason when background changes all the application and everything shutters and freezes for 1-2 seconds. Is there a known issue? There is no spike in CPU/Memory.

We haven't run into this issue here yet with 1903. If you disable all other applications at startup except for DisplayFusion and reboot, does this still happen?

Hello,

Yes still happens it seems like this time it might be DisplayFusion issue. Disabling Aero Settings to don't change the Aero Color and in windows setting resolves the issue. Seems like there might now be conflict between DisplayFusion and Windows settings since they can contradict each other.

Do you also use Chrome? It looks like Chrome has issues with repainting when the Aero Colour changes, regardless of whether DisplayFusion is changing it, or the Windows settings are changing it. I'd be willing to bet the desktop icons refreshing are related as well :)

Hello Chrome fixed their bug. This seems to be DF issue now.

Does it still only happen if you have the Aero colour changing enabled?

Hello,

Yes that is correct. I disabled the setting in DF and enabled it in windows setting and duration of lag/freeze is small but it is still significant.

Yeah, makes sense. The issue isn't with how DF is setting the Aero colour (we use a Windows API for this anwyays), it'll happen any time the Aero colour changes. I'd recommend just leaving it disabled, and also disable the automatic accent colour in the Windows settings as well.
