When I try to snip a window using windows snipping tool, all the windows disappear and only the background shows up for selection. I have multi monitor setup and only background shows up on all monitors when snipping tool is launched

When i exit DF and try, it works fine.

Thanks for sending that over. If you add the Snipping Tool to the compatibility list in DisplayFusion and turn on "Disable application hooks (this app only)", does that fix it up?

Unfortunately, that didn't fix the issue

I'm pretty stumped here, we can't seem to reproduce it on our end. I've added it to our list, if we need any other info or have any other ideas we'll let you know.

Thanks!

I'm having the same issue and it's completly preventing me from doing a major portion of my job. Started roughly 3 weeks ago with a windows update, I basically have to disable my trigger every time I need a snip (daily).

Problem: When I try to take a snip, only monitor 3 turns grey and is ready to snip. Monitor 3 also hides all windows and shows only background. Clicking/trying to take a snip from another monitor cancels the snip, taking a snip on monitor 3 only snips the background. Canceling the snip unhides windows on monitor 3.
To help with diagnosis, I do not have this issue when Triggers are disabled. The only trigger I have: Event: Window Created, Frequency: Always, Process Filename: *'*, Action: Move window to Selected Monitor 3. This trigger keeps windows from popping up on my turned off tv.

The issue is not isolated to snipping tool. Tried screen clipping in Microsoft onenote and faced the same issue.

Ah yep, I was able to reproduce it here with that trigger, I'll update our info.

@JD35 If you enter "-snipping" into the Window Text match condition on that trigger, it will prevent it from firing on the snipping window

Thanks, I have installed the Beta version. I assume it should be okay to remove "-snipping" text in trigger
