Hi -

I am running WinXP SP2 on an Acer laptop with a 17" external LCD as primary monitor and the laptop's 15.4 LCD as secondary.

I just downloaded and installed DisplayFusion. At the end of the installation, it has a check box to start DisplayFusion, which I left checked.

When I click Finish, it acts like it's loading, but then I get this:

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, and I'm still getting the same thing.

Any advice? Thanks!

Linda

Hi Linda,
I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been able to try DisplayFusion! The first thing I would check is whether you have the .NET Framework 2.0 installed. If your computer is new or freshly installed there's a chance that you may not. If you are unsure if you have it or not it doesn't hurt to re-install it. You can find it here:

Please let me know if this fixes the problem, and if not we'll try something else.

Thanks,
Jon

I have exactly the same problem on an Acer travelmate 2450 running XP-sp2 pro. As perhaps part of the problem, the last update pushed down from Microsquash informed me that the update to .net framework 2 did not install.

Yes, you need to install the .net framework before the update will install properly. Blame microsoft for that.

I'm going to mark this thread complete, but please feel free to post again if you haven't resolved this issue yet.

Thanks,
Jon
