There is an "Advanced Setting" for specifying a program to run after a wallpaper change. However, it appears that the only way to specify parameters is to directly edit the registry.

Would it be possible to add the capability to set the program's parameters in the "Advanced Settings" also?

THANKS
Peter

Good question! I've added this to our list and we'll see what we can do :)

Thanks!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and there's now an extra Advanced Setting to allow you to specify the parameters for the program to run after wallpaper change. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

Thanks Keith though I'm not using that feature any more.

Originally I was using it to run bginfo on a Microsoft Azure VM and I had to set the parameters the old fashioned way (in the registry). Proved to be a fruitless exercise however as bginfo really screws things up when confronted with multiple monitors of different sizes and resolutions. Unfortunately Microsoft made it part of the default VM image and I had to remove it in the end.

Amazon EC2 machines don't have this problem. I'm guessing they use something other than bginfo to add information to the desktop wallpaper.

I know I could do this with DisplayFusion, however, much of the information related to the virtual environment isn't readily available.
