Expect to see issues when upgrading to a new IE version... just wanted to make aware since I didn't see any other posts on it. "Toggle Window Transparency" still works correctly.

Running DisplayFusion Pro 5.1. Let me know if there is anything I can try. Thanks!

This may actually be related to another bug. We're going to do some more testing, and we'll let you know as soon as it's fixed up!

Thanks!

I've just tested this out, and wasn't able to reproduce it in Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. Is there a specific set of steps that makes this issue occur on your system?

Thanks!

Thank you for checking. Yeah, don't know why but it isn't working with just IE11. I verified with Firefox, Chrome, RDP, Notepad, and all work with "Always on Top" but IE11 doesn't. I have include my settings and log below. Thank you for taking the time to look into this!

Thanks for the log! Quick question, how are you invoking the "Toggle Window Always on Top" Function? From the log it looks like you're activating it from the tray menu, but the same log entry will show up if you do it from the TitleBar Button right-click menu as well. Just want to confirm which you're using :)

I'm invoking from the Title Bar button. Looked quickly and I didn't see how to invoke from tray icon. I had enabled a key combo of ALT-CTRL-0 temporarily to toggle the title bar button while I was troubleshooting. Not regularly used.

Ok, so whether you use the TitleBar Button, or the hotkey that you set for toggling always on top, it doesn't work either way?

Disregard that last question, I've been able to reproduce the issue :)

Looks like it works if you use the HotKey, or if you add it as an actual TitleBar Button and left-click it, but not if you try to activate it from the TitleBar Button right-click menu.

I've added this to our list, and we'll let you know when we've gotten it fixed up.

Thanks!

Well... Not sure if its Murphy's law or user error but it is now working. I was always trying to toggle by using the title bar menu, which never worked for IE11 but did for other apps. I created a key combo for "always on top" and that worked for IE11. When I then tried from the title bar again, it now works for IE11. When I remove the combo and restart IE11 it stops working again.

I'll keep playing around with this and try a few more things. It's probably self-inflicted but I have a way around it for now.

Ah ok, interesting! Glad you found a workaround, and we'll let you know when we're able to get it fixed up proper :)

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and this issue should now be fixed up proper. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
