DisplayFusion 10.1 Beta 8 Now Available!

We're very excited to announce that DisplayFusion 10.1 (Beta 8) is now available for download! This version fixes many important issues and gets close to the final 10.1 release.
DisplayFusion 10.1 (Beta 8) Highlights
  • Change: Custom column width will now be remembered in the Triggers tab each time the edit window closes
  • Fix: Inverting titlebar button colours with the advanced setting should work now
  • Fix: Resolved an issue where the Start10/11 icon would disappear off DisplayFusion taskbars
  • Fix: Resolved an issue where autohidden taskbars would get stuck open if you quickly revealed them
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with the network icon not getting moved to secondary monitors with some monitor configs
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with DisplayFusion taskbars not detecting DPI changes
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with titlebar buttons preventing maximize button from firing on LINE desktop app
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with button clicks on taskbar items failing when taskbar rendering is disabled
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with AltTab not updating on all monitors when using "Show on all monitors, show all windows"
  • Fix: FxSound will appear on DisplayFusion taskbars now
  • Fix: Apps that include the version number in the path will auto update when pinned to DisplayFusion taskbar
  • Fix: General perfomance improvements to fix stuttering when running DisplayFusion
  • Fix: DisplayFusion should correctly maximize windows when dragging to splits now
  • Fix: Resolved an issue where the wallpaper was occasionally blank
  • Fix: Pinning the control panel on a DisplayFusion taskbar will now show the correct icon

  • Fix: Resolved an issue where the Start menu would sometimes open then immediate close
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with Alt+Tab sizing when many windows are open
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with Alt+Tab being slow to open
  • Fix: TitleBar Buttons now show on Adobe Premiere Elements window
  • Fix: Monitor Config and Profiles can now correctly apply custom resolutions that were saved after creating them in NVIDIA Control Panel
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with maximized window dragging
  • Fix: ESET security software no longer hangs while DisplayFusion is running
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with loading profiles when primary monitor is being enabled

  • Fix: Chrome windows no longer minimize when selecting from DisplayFusion taskbar
  • Fix: Aero Shake status is reflected in DisplayFusion settings based on what Windows is set to
  • Fix: Added Firefox to the list of blacklisted processes when running ESET
  • Fix: Added titlebar buttons to Adobe Premiere Elements window
  • Fix: You can now pin mmc.exe to a DisplayFusion taskbar directly
  • Fix: Opening your current wallpaper in File Explorer will now jump to the file

  • Change: New Alt+Tab mode: All Monitors, Current Windows Only
  • Change: Improved detection when moving windows to make sure they're in the correct spot
  • Change: Removed Colour Depth from monitor config window as it's not longer needed
  • Change: Added more logging for clicks on taskbar items
  • Change: We've overhauled our AltTab code to fix various issues
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with hooks only running on one instance of a terminal server
  • Fix: Looping scripts now stop when exiting script
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with SmugMug login
  • Fix: Resolved an issue where DisplayFusion wasn't detecting the correct monitor profile
  • Fix: Right click menu on taskbar no longer drops behind taskbar
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with maximized dragging not snapping to splits

  • Change: Using polling instead of hooks now for Adobe Reader which fixes issues and allows it to remain running sandboxed
  • Fix: Open Wallpaper Image in File Explorer no longer shows splash screen
  • Fix: Monitor Profile loading fix
  • Fix: Minimize Window to System Tray no longer combines multiple windows into a single tray icon
  • Fix: Taskbar buttons now show up on DF taskbar for AMD Radeon software and Gigabyte Aorus
  • Fix: Resolved an issue where the Windows taskbar was sometimes not constrained properly when using Monitor Splitting

  • Change: New code signing certificate (this is to fix the VirtualBox split maximize issue)
  • Fix: VirtualBox will now maximize correctly to splits again
  • Fix: Resolved an intermittent issue with re-ordering taskbar buttons
  • Fix: Resolved an issue with running functions on maximized windows on monitors with padding
  • Fix: Alt+Tab can now focus Win32 apps even when DisplayFusion is not running elevated
  • Fix: Borderless mirror windows now go full screen again when double-clicked
  • Fix: Re-worked monitor profile load via hotkey/tray menu to try and resolve an intermittent issue with loading profiles
