This morning we woke up to some great news. The latest Windows 10 Insider Build (build 21287 and higher) resolves the issue of application windows getting moved around when computers with DisplayPort monitors resume from sleep mode!

Please note that Windows 10 Insider Builds are early access previews, and as such, they will have a few (or many!) bugs, so update at your own risk.
