After many months of development I am ready to start talking about one of the biggest new features planned for DisplayFusion v2.3: Multi-Monitor Taskbar Support. This is the most requested feature, and also the most difficult to create, so it has taken some time to get to this stage. I am officially ready to start beta testing and I'm looking for people who would like to give this feature a try. This feature will be a Pro only feature, so this beta will only be available to people with DisplayFusion Pro licenses.

Here is what the multi-monitor taskbar looks like in Windows XP with the Blue theme. The Windows Taskbar is on the left and the DisplayFusion Taskbar is on the right. As you can see, all of the taskbar windows are being shown on both taskbars.

In the second screenshot you can see DisplayFusion is only showing the windows that are on each screen in the DisplayFusion Taskbar. There are still a number of options that need to be finalized, but I want to start testing now to get as much feedback as I can from other people's desktop configurations. I am happy to announce the release of DisplayFusion v2.2.1. This new release is mostly a bug-fix release, and doesn't add any new features. Here are some of the things addressed in this release:

• Resized some windows to allow them to work properly at 800x600
• Fixed an issue that prevented DisplayFusion from starting when using certain locales (ex: Turkish)
• Fixed some of the "jerky mouse movement" issues in rare situations
• Fixed some windows failing to drag maximized or snap properly (ex: Windows Live Messenger)

If you would like to see the full list of changes, head over to the DisplayFusion change log. I would encourage everyone to update as soon as they can. If you are using DisplayFusion Pro then you should be prompted to upgrade and DisplayFusion will take care of downloading and installing this update. For everyone using the free version you will be notified of the new version but you will need to download and install the update manually from the DisplayFusion website.

I was very pleased to discover that Computer Shopper, a large UK magazine, did a mini-review of DisplayFusion in this month's issue. I would like to send out a huge thanks to Ghislain Bossuyt for translating DisplayFusion v2.2 into Dutch. I am very happy to announce the release of DisplayFusion v2.2. This release has been the result of many, many months of beta testing and fine tuning. There are a pile of new features and bug fixes, but the single biggest change is the addition of multiple language support. This means that you can now use DisplayFusion in your own native language. I have provided 3 language files: English, German and Spanish, but you are free to create your own. DisplayFusion uses an open text-based format and as a result it's very easy to create your own translation. Visit the DisplayFusion Languages page to find out more.

Here are some of the major changes:

• You can now specify a time interval smaller than 1 minute for the image changer
• Added a 'Remove unused temporary image files automatically' option that will automatically delete any previously downloaded, unused Flickr images - Big space saver!
• Added a "Pause DisplayFusion when full screen application is running" option - previously it was always paused when a full screen application was running
• Fixed a bug that prevented wallpaper tiling from lining up correctly in certain situations
